“ Finally made my way to Burger NV — one of the few original tenants still standing in the ever-shifting landscape of Reno Public Market. As many locals know, RPM has seen quite the revolving door of vendors, likely a reflection of Reno’s increasingly difficult small business climate where rent hikes and rising food costs make longevity a serious accomplishment. I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss Burger and upgraded to sweet potato fries. Let’s talk price first — just under $24 for a burger, fries, and water isn’t shocking for RPM, where vendors often have to adjust pricing simply to stay afloat. It’s a tough balance between supporting local businesses and navigating the reality of Reno’s expanding cost of living. The burger itself was solid — not necessarily mind-blowing at that price point, but well-executed and flavorful. The real surprise came with the sweet potato fries. At first glance, I thought they were overcooked — almost burnt — but one bite revealed the perfect balance of crisp exterior and soft, almost creamy interior. An unexpected win. Bonus points for the friendly staff, who were wonderfully accommodating of my allergy restrictions — something that always earns major respect in my book. Overall: Burger NV delivers a satisfying meal, excellent service, and stands as a bit of a survivor in Reno Public Market’s turbulent vendor turnover. I genuinely hope they continue to thrive despite the financial challenges many small food businesses are facing in the area. ”

“ To start, I consider myself a burger guy. My friends would call me picky, and I am a bit of a Karen when it comes to my food. With that said, great job! Service upfront was prompt and helpful, answering my questions and accommodating my requests. I paid just under $25 for a BBQ bacon cheeseburger, regular fries, and a Coke. The burger is much like an American diner-style burger with a thick patty and fresh ingredients. The patty was cooked perfectly, still juicy and thoroughly cooked. The bacon was thick and tasty, and the rest of the toppings were on point. The fries are also good. When I saw the cook grab one to snack on, I knew that was a good sign. Fries are easy to get tired of in a kitchen when you work all day, unless they're that good. After my first one, I immediately wanted a second. I hope everyone's experience is like mine; that was a damn good lunch. ”

“ 12.1.23: Last night a friend and I went to the Reno Public Market for the 9th Annual Make 'Em Smile Toy Drive Event to donate toys and watch our friends play live music. We hadn't had dinner and decided on Burger NV. We both ordered the Fish and Chips and we both loved it! It was served hot and the fry was a perfect cook, not soggy nor overly fried. The tartar sauce was different than anything I had before and it was more of a thinner sauce. It's hard to describe the taste but I liked it and how it wasn't thick and heavy. The fries were fresh and delicious too. The coleslaw actually wasn't too bad and had some decent flavor to it. The service was good and the person taking our order was friendly. ”
